Wanted produced by Boney Kapoor stars Ayesha Takia opposite him and has music by Salman favourites, Sajid-Wajid. Wanted is slated for a July release.
Salman Khan, For his upcoming action movie, Wanted Dead or Alive, performed a dare devil fight sequence atop a building terrace in Mumbai.
Boney Kapoor has finally casted charismatic and talented Ayesha Takia as Salman Khan’s leading lady in his next production Wanted Dead & Alive.
A unit member told, “There was an action scene being shot on a specially erected set on a building terrace near Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course. The small set is actually shown as Salman’s character’s home in the film. Posing as a goon, Salman’s role is of an undercover cop out to destroy a mafia don’s empire in this Hindi remake of Telugu super hit Pokkiri. The action sequence had a rival gang’s members attacking Salman in his house.”
The script of Wanted Dead & Alive demands a kiss from the sizzling onscreen couple but going by the trend set by Salman and Ayesha it looks like a distant dream for their fans to see anything sizzling (except for their chemistry) between their favourite stars.
“Salman takes on the gang members with a stunt that includes jumping from outside the terrace into it with a gun in hand. The stunt co-ordinator had suggested the use of a body double but the brawny Khan insisted on doing it on his own. Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva spoke to Salman trying to convince him to use a body double but Salman was in no mood to listen. Sporting a much leaner frame, Salman who has worked a lot in the past few months on his physique told him that there was no reason for anyone to worry as he was fit enough for any stunt. Prabhu Deva gave in and after just one rehearsal shot Salman gave the perfect take to the applause of all the present crew members,” added the source.
Most part of the film has Salman in a typical Tapori look with his trademark torn jeans and unbuttoned checked shirt showing his vest. His dialogues, our source revealed, are going to be amongst one of the highlights.
