Walk the Red Carpet
Fashion designer Amit GT’s autumn-winter collection, that he would be taking to the Dubai Fashion Week soon, is all about dressing up beautiful ladies who walk the Red Carpet. “The gowns in the collection are flowy. I have used subtle colours that express the kind nature of women.
I have given the collection shades of purple and pink, as these are my favourite colours and I feel various shades of these colours bring out the element of femininity in women.”
Amit has used chiffons, organza, and has played with textures to give the gowns a rich look. “My collection also has a touch of nature in it, as I have drawn inspiration from nature as well,” says Amit, adding that his collection is for the woman who wants to make a niche for herself in the world. “The creations represent the urban diva who loves to dress up fashionably,” he says. Talking about the innovative cuts that he has used in his creations, the designer says, “The cuts give a very trendy look to the outfits. Women are ready to experiment with creativity and that’s what my collection offers.”
