No Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra for Shah Rukh Khan

It’s well known that Shah Rukh Khan has bagged the rights to make a cinematic adaptation of the book ‘Two States’ , and the director of this one is going to be Vishal Bhardwaj.

This project has gone through a lot of changes before it has even begun!

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film was to star Saif Ali Khan and was to be directed by Siddharth Anand, but the latest gupshup is that Shah Rukh Khan and Vishal Bhardwaj will come together in this movie instead. Before Priyanka, Ash was considered to play the female protagonist opposite Saif Ali Khan.

With Saif Ali Khan out of the project, and Shah Rukh Khan in, the production house is now making a decision of whom to cast as the female lead. A source informs us, “It’s neither Aishwarya Rai nor Priyanka Chopra. Vishal and Shah Rukh Khan think its best to launch a new face.”
