On occasions more than one, Indian cricket team players have shown their interest in walking the ramp. And they have a reason to rejoice now. The recently announced Kolkata Fashion Week (KFW) has put an official stamp on the fact that cricket and fashion are getting

closely associated.

The organisers have roped in the Indian team’s captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as the event’s brand ambassador. “I am really happy to be associated with the Kolkata Fashion Week. It is a new, brave and a great initiative. I hope it will be a long-term success. And I also hope that my association will benefit the event to a large extent,” said Dhoni. The four-day-long fashion extravaganza, being organised from April 2 to 5, will have some popular names from Delhi’s fashion circles as well, fashion designers Anjana Bhargav and Zubair Kirmani to name a few.
