Friendly ghosts on the sets

Vandana Pathak and Bharti Achrekar are used to crew members laughing out loud while they are shooting a scene, but this was one time when they were in for a surprise. They actually heard people screaming out of fear. What happened was, recently for an episode of SAB’s Main Kab Saas Banoongi, Vandana and Bharti had to dress up like ghosts. The shooting was to happen in the night. Before the shot was canned, the women to check their make-up came out of their make-up rooms holding two candles that were lit for the shot. But the crew members didn’t realise that and began screaming!
After a while the crew heard someone laughing loudly. Obviously, the two actresses were laughing out loud. “Normally, the characters are so funny that everybody on the sets keep laughing while we have to keep a straight face, so it was fun to scare them,” says Vandana. “It’s funny that everybody was just waiting for us to finish our make-up and shoot, yet when we came out they ran for cover. I guess the candles scared them.”
