Dia Mirza has a guardian angel

It’s not everyday that an actress admits to having a godfather in the industry. But then Dia Mirza’s one gal who’s always been honest and upfront when it comes to her life — whether personal or professional. Incidentally, even though the actress’s recent film didn’t

do well at the BO, she’s much in demand. She has five films lined up with some of the best directors. When we asked the secret to being hot property in B-town, she confesses it’s all thanks to her godfather.

On asking further, the petite actress explains, “I strongly believe that there’s a guardian angel out there taking care of me, both through my ups and downs. Everything has always just fallen into place for me and I’ve never had to struggle to reach where I am today right from day one. And all that without having any ‘connections’ in the industry. So, for me my guardian angel has actually been my godfather here.” Well, now who needs godfathers here when you have winged godfathers up there, right Dia?
